Shoulder Impingement PDF Print E-mail

Shoulder impingement is one of the most common causes of shoulder pain in adults.

Shoulder impingement can be improved quickly and effectively with THERBO.

Impingement of the shoulder results from pressure being applied to the Supraspinatus, one of the rotator cuff muscles, by a part of the shoulder blade, the acromion. The pressure is caused not by the acromion pushing down on the shoulder, but rather by the head of the humerus being elevated and or pulled forward into the acromial arch. This is usually caused by the anterior shoulder muscles being shortened. These shortened musles will then pull the humeral head forward in the shoulder socket, impinging the supraspinatus tendon.

The pain and limited range of motion of the shoulder can quickly be reduced by lengthening the correct muscles with Therbo.
